E-invoicing guide · Zoho Books
UAE e-invoicing with Zoho Books.
Zoho Books is common among UAE service businesses, often alongside Zoho CRM. The connection itself is the easy part. Most problems come from customer records and from quotes that don’t match invoices.
- Keep your current software
- Fixed-fee readiness review
- Tested before your deadline
Rules last reviewed 25 September 2026. See the sources. Dates can change; we update this page when they do.
The route
Getting Zoho Books ready, step by step.
- Decide between Zoho’s own UAE route and an accredited provider’s Zoho connector, and confirm the provider on the Ministry of Finance register.
- Turn on the UAE e-invoicing settings in your Zoho Books organisation and connect the provider.
- Map items, tax treatments and credit notes so every invoice carries the required fields.
- Test a sample of real invoices and credit notes during the pilot period, including a rejected one.
Your CRM and customer data
Where most rejected invoices start.
If you quote in Zoho CRM, keep one customer record across Zoho CRM and Zoho Books: legal name, address, tax registration number and contact for invoices. Sync it, don’t retype it.
Problems we see most
- Customer names in the CRM that don’t match the trade licence.
- Tax registration numbers stored in notes instead of the right field.
- Credit notes issued outside Zoho Books.
The dates
Deadlines by revenue.

How we help
A readiness review, then a tested connection.
We map how quotes become invoices in your business, clean the customer records in Zoho Books and your CRM, connect the provider you choose and test real invoices during the pilot. You keep your software.
We are not an accredited provider and do not give tax advice. We work alongside your provider and your accountant or tax agent.
