E-invoicing guide · Odoo
UAE e-invoicing with Odoo.
Odoo setups vary more than most, with different versions, editions and custom modules. Start by confirming what your version supports, then plan the connection with your Odoo partner and provider.
- Keep your current software
- Fixed-fee readiness review
- Tested before your deadline
Rules last reviewed 25 September 2026. See the sources. Dates can change; we update this page when they do.
The route
Getting Odoo ready, step by step.
- Confirm your Odoo version and edition, and any custom invoice reports or modules.
- Choose a UAE e-invoicing module or an accredited provider’s Odoo connector, and confirm the provider on the Ministry register.
- Map customers, taxes, credit notes and multi-company setups to the required fields.
- Test in the provider’s sandbox during the pilot, including rejected invoices and corrections.
Your CRM and customer data
Where most rejected invoices start.
If you use Odoo CRM, sales and accounting already share contacts, but only if the contact records are complete. Clean legal names, addresses and tax numbers before testing.
Problems we see most
- Custom invoice templates that bypass the structured data.
- Several companies in one database with different settings.
- Older versions that need an upgrade before a connector is supported.
The dates
Deadlines by revenue.

How we help
A readiness review, then a tested connection.
We map how quotes become invoices in your business, clean the customer records in Odoo and your CRM, connect the provider you choose and test real invoices during the pilot. You keep your software.
We are not an accredited provider and do not give tax advice. We work alongside your provider and your accountant or tax agent.
